Job Title: Neurologist
Location: Vicksburg, Mississippi

Job Summary: We are looking for a Neurologist to become the sole provider for this specialty in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The ideal candidate should have Stroke Fellowship training or equivalent experience. This is a traditional in/outpatient practice offering competitive salary, productivity incentive, and commencement bonus.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Diagnose, treat and manage neurological diseases and conditions
– Provide comprehensive medical care for inpatients and outpatients
– Perform neurological evaluations, including physical exams and diagnostic tests
– Collaborate with other medical professionals and order appropriate tests
– Prescribe medications and therapies, when necessary
– Educate patients and families about neurological diseases and treatments
– Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
– Maintain accurate medical records
Qualifications:
– Degree in medicine from an accredited institution
– Active license to practice Neurology in the state of Mississippi
– Stroke Fellowship training or equivalent experience
– Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
– Demonstrated interest in working with diverse patient populations
– Ability to think critically and make sound medical decisions
Experience and Skills:
– At least two years of experience in a clinical setting
– Knowledge of neurological diseases, treatments and management strategies
– Proficiency in the use of medical software and hardware
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
