Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Neurologist to join our team and provide excellent care to our patients. This position will cover inpatient consults/call including our certified stroke program, as well as an outpatient setting. We have on-site EEG capability, advanced imaging, interventional radiology, and a sleep center. This position requires Epileptologist training and a specialized interest in seizure/headache, sleep medicine, and the ability to read 3hr EEG studies.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

• Provide exceptional care to patients in a hospital setting

• Manage inpatient and outpatient consultations

• Monitor and assess patient health

• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments

• Interpret imaging results and test results

• Provide education and support to patients and their families

• Maintain accurate patient records

 

Qualifications:

 

• MD/DO degree in Neurology

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology

• Current state medical license

• Epileptologist training

• Ability to read 3hr EEG studies

 

Experience and Skills:

 

• Experience managing inpatient and outpatient consultations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in medical terminology

• Ability to think critically and make decisions quickly

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations

• Proficient in the use of electronic medical records
