Job Summary: We are currently seeking a Neuro-Hospitalist to join our team in Myrtle Beach. The ideal candidate will have a South Carolina medical license and be board certified or board eligible in Neurology. This position offers a 7 on / 7 off inpatient neurology schedule, as well as an opportunity to participate in outpatient clinic days.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient neurology care and consultation

• Participate in patient triage and care management

• Develop and maintain patient treatment plans

• Contribute to patient education and counseling

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals

 

Qualifications:

• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology

• South Carolina medical license

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment

 

Experience and Skills:

• At least two years of experience in medical neurology

• Experience performing neurological exams and interpreting results

• Knowledge of neurological disorders, treatments and medications

• Proficiency in medical documentation

• Competency in using medical software and equipment
