Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician

Job Summary:

 

We are seeking an experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join our well-established and highly respected group of physicians. This is an employed opportunity through a physician services group. The position is positioned for continued growth and expansion in our Women’s Health Services.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

·          Provide consultative services with no deliveries and inpatient coverage

·          Take call in week-long increments, mostly by telephone

·          Offer teaching opportunities to OBGYN residents, if interested

·          Provide care at two practice locations (Gainesville and Ocala), with potential for expansion

·          Possess board certification, or be board eligible

·          Possess proficiency in cerclage placement

·          Possess proficiency in amniocentesis and / or chorionic villus sampling (CVS)

 

Qualifications:

 

·          Maternal Fetal Medicine-specialized physician

·          Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Florida

·          Previous experience preferred

·          Ability to provide comprehensive and compassionate care for patients

·          Ability to work in a team environment

·          Strong communication and organizational skills

 

Experience and Skills:

 

·          Knowledge of obstetrics, gynecology, and fetal medicine

·          Ability to interpret and analyze ultrasound images

·          Proficiency in fetal echocardiography

·          Proficiency in use of GE Voluson E10 machines and reporting system (Viewpoint)
