Provides architecture guidance and development leadership in managing, designing, and delivering of complex Integration Platform solutions across multiple technologies including support for data governance, data quality, and integrations initiatives to support the business. A key to success in this role is building strong partnerships with internal customers and peer groups, managing their expectations, meeting their needs, and monitoring their satisfaction as well as developing talent.

Manage Architecture and Development

• Design and develop new systems, as well as existing systems, with an emphasis on minimized maintenance requirements
• Develop, test, and maintain Big Data solutions for the company. Gather large amounts of data from multiple sources and ensure that downstream users can access the data quickly and efficiently. Essentially, ensure the company’s data pipelines are scalable, secure, and able to serve multiple users.
• Function as a Senior Developer, participating in meetings with Analysts and Architects to gather the scope, requirements, and architecture of a project

Team Leadership/Delivery

• Guide and lead global teams to coordinate projects
• Review code of external and internal resources
• Working with business partners, vendors, and project delivery teams creating a roadmap for services delivery
• Work with business, infrastructure, and applications leaders to identify the scope, requirements, and architecture of the project

Technology Leadership

• Keeps up on contemporary integration capabilities and products
• Introduces new methods and lifecycles to the Company
• Owns development and testing tools for integration and big data solutions
• Mentor technical resources on design patterns and best practices with a focus on cloud, IPAAS, and Big Data solutions

Supervisor and coach team members.

• Prepare and discuss mid-year and year-end performance reviews
• Monitor staff performance, provide continued feedback, and take appropriate actions as needed
• Approve and monitor PTO and alternative work schedules
• Motivate and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team
• Ensure direct reports meet deadlines

Operational Support / Other

• Patching, SRE, BAU

Education & Experience

Required:     Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistic, or a related field (Four years’ additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree) AND at least 8+ years of experience working within integration architectures and middleware, specifically AWS technologies; developing SOAP, RESTFUL APIs; Experience designing, integrating and developing complex applications solutions using tools like AWS, Informatica, Python; Experience with applications scalability and performance management; Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application and systems engineering; understanding and support for B2B solutions.

Preferred:     Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus; Experience in developing web-based, client-server and distributed architecture applications.; Cloud Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services); Domain expertise in insurance and/or health care payer; Bilingual (English/Spanish); working knowledge of Latin America preferred; Experience with MDM and data integration a plus; at least 3 years leading and managing a team
