Entrepreneurial, technology driven, manufacturing company is seeking a new Business Applications Manager due to a retirement. The profile of the successful candidate will have prior experience with an SAP company and understand all the SAP modules withing the 4 walls of a manufacturing plant. We are looking for a leader that likes to  mentor, coach, and develop teams.  


What you’d be doing:

  • Monitor progress of application operation support, service requests, requests for change and projects for which you or a direct report are application owners
  • Manage assigned projects, requests for change, service requests and tickets as directed
  • Provide quality control in the supply process of Business Application Management products and services in their functional area
  • Support the continuous learning efforts for the team to prepare the regional team for future technological challenges and greater self-sufficiency (e.g. SAP rollouts/support)
  • Provide full mentoring, coaching and training for direct reports for staff development. This includes technical training, soft-skills, leadership, and anything else that will contribute to the growth of the team.

Background profile:

  • Four year degree in Information Technology or a Business discipline is required
  • Proficiency in relevant areas of the SAP system, all the manufacturing related modules, as well as other related applications such as EDI and mobile applications. Should understand the business and functional processes in these areas.
  • Prior experience either as a manager, or in a leadership role where mentoring and coaching was an area of accomplishment for you.
  • Proficiency in productivity suites, such as Microsoft Office
  • Project Management experience
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Understanding of business and functional process in area of responsibility
  • Desire to work in a hybrid remote/on-site environment. 
  • Ability to lead a multi-cultural team spread out across North America, South America, and Europe.
