The planner is responsible for the planning all maintenance work performed in the area in which he/she is assigned. He/she maintains liaison and coordination between the production and maintenance organizations; maintains appropriate records and files to permit meaningful analysis and reporting of results of work completed.
Need someone who has a strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance planning background out of consumer products or high speed manufacturing. Degree is preferred but not required. SAP is preferred but not required. CMMS experience and must be able to read drawings. Must possess a fundamental understanding of the planning and scheduling of maintenance work functions as they apply to predictive, preventive, precision, proactive, and planned maintenance. Microsoft Project experience, lean manufacturing, and good interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Would consider a Maintenance Supervisor who is interested in being a Maintenance Planner as long as they fit in the salary range.
