Excellent location about 45 minutes South of Ruston, LA.
Be the Maintenance Manager in this large high-speed wood products manufacturing plant. Lead a team of about 40 (with Supervisors and Planners). This is a large facility with a lot going on so your team will be busy backing up and working closely with the project teams. Implement and manage PPM and instill a good work culture.
Qualifications
- At least a High School Diploma/GED is required, an Associates or Bachelors would be a plus.
- Five (5) or more years of experience in a supervisory/leadership role in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Demonstrated experience in safely leading manufacturing processes, predictive and preventative maintenance, productivity, and/or cost process improvements
- Strong computer, mathematical, and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and coach a team
- Excellent communication (written, verbal, and listening) skills
- Ability and willingness to effectively facilitate and encourage change management
- Strong independent problem-solving and organization skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other units to review opportunities to exchange technology, innovations and best practices
- Ability to perform physical requirements of working in an industrial environment, such as climbing stairs and working in extreme heat and cold
- Willingness to support a 24/7 operating environment, which may include weekend and holiday support as conditions require
