Description
We are currently searching for a qualified and reliable Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance department. As the maintenance manager, you will be responsible for managing all repair and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities. Your duties
will include maintaining plant machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures in a high speed, continuous production environment. You will be responsible for leading the 24-hour coverage, maintenance team; training,
developing, and building a stable team environment. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a good understanding of maintenance machinery and equipment, as well as outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Manages maintenance and repair of all Material Handling Equipment (Conveyors and Forklifts), machinery, electrical and power systems, and grounds and building systems to ensure uninterrupted services and operations
• Comply with Company Safety Policies and Procedures
• Oversees and directs all maintenance related functions to ensure plant operations can maintain safety compliance
• Utilize problem solving techniques to resolve complex manufacturing problems and introduces innovative solutions
• Work with cross functional teams to correct manufacturing issues
• Inspect, monitor, and control the quality of workmanship and completed tasks to ensure it meets company standards
• Implement and maintain plant preventive maintenance program
• Maintain monthly parts and supply budget and labor costs
• Fully proficient with all machinery
• Utilizes manufacturing Lean principles to minimize operating costs by efficiently maintain spare part levels
• Proficient knowledge and understanding of all quality assurance procedures and requirements
• Implement changes in working conditions to improve the effectiveness of efficiency
• Responsible for maintenance department housekeeping ensuring a safe work environment
• Manages and directs workflow of the maintenance team
• Facilitates professional development by conducting on-the-job training, performance appraisals and needed assessments
• Assists and develops maintenance staffing as needed and directed
• Communicate with all aspects of the operations, from President to plant personnel
• Sustain plant facilities
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a continuous production environment
• At least 2 years of experience in facilities and/or maintenance
• Preventive Maintenance procedures
• Knowledge of Automated Control Systems, electrical systems, water systems, building repairs and housekeeping procedures, hydraulic and pneumatic understanding
• Must have excellent communication and change management skills
• Ability to resolve issues in a tactful and diplomatic manner
• Requires strong organizational and time management skills and be able to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently
• Knowledge of electricity, mechanical, construction and industrial machinery
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with 3 phase motors, compressors, and hoist/cranes
• Awareness of state/local regulations, building codes and OSHA standards and regulations

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet conditions, extreme heat, fumes and airborne particles, toxic and caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move throughout the facility including on uneven terrain. Employee will operate equipment such as overhead cranes, robots, and forklift as well as position self to inspect equipment and ascend/descend to view equipment. Duties also require moving items up to 75lbs.
