In this journeyman machinist role, you will be part of a team in the tool making operations and be responsible for machining the tools required in manufacturing operations.

Our client is an innovative OEM of “smart” solutions used in automotive and transportation industries. As journeyman machinist, you will work in an environment that challenges individuals to be creative, support multiple customers and projects and work with the latest technologies.

Position Overview

  • Plan and carry out operations needed to make machined products to precise specifications
  • Use machine tools such as multi-axis precision machining centers, wire EDM, sinker EDM, mills, and lathes
  • Use CAD data to determine necessary cutting and finishing requirements needed to produce the desired component

Candidate Requirements

  • Must be a journeyman machinist or tool and die maker
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
  • Working knowledge of Gibbs CAM, Esprit and/or Pro Engineer is helpful
