Growing CPA firm in Scottsdale, Arizona is looking to add a Litigation & Valuations Manager to their staff.
 
Job Description: Litigation & Valuation Manager is responsible for the management of Analysts and Senior Analysts in the completion of business valuations, economic damages, and forensic accounting projects and reports.

Job Responsibilities:
• Participates with Director on litigation and valuation engagements of various clients including direct client/attorney contact and project management
• Manages Analysts and Senior Analysts in the preparation of valuation model inputs, working papers and research for business and intangible asset valuation reports
• Develops economic damages models regarding personal injury, wrongful death and wrongful termination of employment
• Develops of economic damages models and written reports on economic damages including lost profits and other forms of commercial/economic damages
• Develops technical skills including a good understanding of basic and complex elements of financial models used, ability to perform research on all elements of assignment and perform most technical components of projects
• Identifies and communicates with Director gaps in documentation, issues identified and potential solutions to issues identified during all phases of a project
• Manages preparation of staff and ability to prepare complete narrative reports for both litigation and valuation projects for Director review
• Establishes and maintains working relationships with the Litigation &Valuation team including timely communication, participation in staff meetings, participation in client meetings and activities that enhance practice growth as determined by a Director.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 5-8 years of experience preferred
• Specialty credential preferred; e.g., CPA/ABV, CMA, CFE, ASA, CFA or CVA
