Lead Processing Supervisor

Our client is look for an individual to help supervise the Process within their flagship facility.  This role is with a world-wide organization and a household name. 

To be successful:

• Oversee production procedures
• Maintain appropriate inventory of raw materials and packaging
• Compiling of data for the weekly productivity and inventory sheet
• Ensure operators follow proper procedures in the process and complete them as scheduled and operators complete control sheets for each process
• Work closely with the Lab and plant floor
• Must support and know the HACCP, Recall, GMP, and Safety programs of the plant.
• Responsible and accountable for the safety of all assigned personnel.
• Primary point of contact for absences; schedule vacations and coordinate all necessary replacement process staff.
• Coordinate temporary workers for production needs; submit requisition to Human Resource/Office Administrator for temporary staff.
• Evaluate temporary employee’s performance; inform Human Resource/Office Administrator when replacements are necessary.
• Responsible and accountable for the safety of all assigned personnel.
• Carries out supervisor responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Some college in the sciences or Management- Associates Degree or higher preferred. 
• 3+ years FDA regulated business and knowledge of HACCP and cGMP.
• Some safety training. 
• Managed a team of 10 or larger
