Folding Carton manufacturer is seeking Folder Gluer Operators to work in our location.
This position reports directly to the Finishing Manager. The Folder Gluer Operator will be responsible for operating folding and gluer equipment safely, efficiently with good quality.
Company makes cartons for food and beverage, frozen dinners, pharmaceutical packaging. They are expanding due to demand and adding an extra shift and equipment as well as replacing people retiring from the company this summer.
The company is essential and has NOT shut down and has NOT laid off any employee and will not.

Packaging company is the leading full-service designer and manufacturer of printed packaging components. Our Cartons Finishing department is seeking to add an experienced Folder/Gluer Operator to their team.
This position will perform setups, perform quality checks, maintenance, troubleshooting and maintain production levels by minimizing downtime. Experience in cartons finishing as an operator is necessary. Candidates with experience running Bobst gluers are a plus but we will consider anyone with experience on Vega, Escomat, DGM, Alpina, Jagenberg or similar equipment.

Pharmaceutical cGMP knowledge
Setup & troubleshooting finishing equipment within a specified time
Computer skills (data collection of time & materials)
High attention to details and quality
Vigilant about the safety of themselves and their team
Ability to communicate, lead & follow production schedule
Make decisions to keep production levels to specifications
We are looking for operators who want to work in a safe, clean and top-notch quality company. Operator with leadership skills and ability to train and mentor press trainees is highly preferred.
