What they’re looking for:
• Med Tech and ASCP certified(MT ASCP) and Bachelors degree REQUIRED.
Transfusion Service – Baccalaureate degree, MT(ASCP) or equivalent and fours years of experience (one of which is in transfusion medicine).
Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology – Baccalaureate degree, MT(ASCP) or equivalent and two years of experience.
Pathology (HT-ASCP), Phlebotomy – Associates degree and two years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Must have a couple years of experience in a lab setting.
Knowledge of daily operations for 1) Histology (surgical pathology specimen processing / microtomy / embedding / frozen sections / H&E stains / IHC stains / special stains.
2) Cytology (GYN and non GYN specimen processing).Responsible for compliance with CAP regulatory guidelines, ODH guidelines, QC, QA, Policy and Procedures, oversight of employee competency assessment, and assists with employee performance review.
Hours and compensation potential:
• The position is full time and the hours are 6am-2:30pm
• The range is between 67K-89K depending on experience.

• The position is for a Pathology department supervisor. An applicant with core lab / blood bank / microbiology experience does not have the work experience needed.
