Job Title: Interventional Radiologist

 

Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania

 

Salary: An attractive compensation package is offered to the successful candidate, which could include a relocation allowance, CME allowances, medical education debt repayment and bonuses.

 

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and qualified Interventional Radiologist to join our team in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with angiography and vascular IR, as well as all general modalities. A potential ratio of 75/25 IR to general is offered, as well as a potential schedule of M-F 8am-5pm and a call of 1:4. A shareholder track and competitive benefits package and salary are included. The successful candidate will have access to 9 weeks’ vacation.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

– Manage and oversee ultrasound, x-ray, MRI, CAT scan, and other imaging technology

– Diagnose and interpret medical images

– Report and document findings

– Maintain accurate patient records

– Liaise with other medical staff to discuss cases

 

Qualifications:

 

– MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school

– Board certification in Radiology

– At least 5 years of post-graduate experience in Interventional Radiology

– Active, unrestricted state medical license

– Strong understanding of medical imaging technology

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

– Ability to work independently and collaboratively

– Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures
