Job Summary: We are looking for an Interventional Cardiologist to join our team in Waycross, GA. The successful candidate will be fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology, board eligible or board certified, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians and administration. This role offers a flexible call schedule and the opportunity to work in a high volume practice.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

– Provide interventional cardiology services to patients

– Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure positive interactions with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals

– Maintain accurate and complete patient records

– Participate in the education and training of medical staff

– Remain current on developments in the field of interventional cardiology

 

Qualifications:

– Graduate of an accredited medical school

– Fellowship-trained in interventional cardiology

– Board eligible or board certified

– Georgia medical licensure or ability to obtain

– Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills

 

Experience and Skills:

– At least one year of experience in an interventional cardiology practice setting

– Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnosis coding

– Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

– Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
