Job Title: Interventional Cardiologist

 

Location: Corsicana, Texas

 

Salary: Our Interventional Cardiologist will receive a competitive base salary, with potential for incentive compensation. Additional benefits include commencement bonuses, relocation, marketing and CME expenses, and medical education loan repayment assistance.

 

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and passionate Interventional Cardiologist to join our team in Corsicana, Texas. The physician must have experience in pacemaker implants, and preferably in defibrillators, peripheral vascular work and extremity support. The successful candidate will be joining one other Interventional Cardiologist, and will be required to take 15 days of call per month.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

• Provide interventional and general cardiology services

• Perform pacemaker implants

• Possess knowledge of defibrillators and peripheral vascular work

• Knowledge of extremity support for vascular access and/or lower extremity

• Work collaboratively with the team

• Adhere to relevant polices and procedures

 

Qualifications:

 

• Graduate from an accredited medical school

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Cardiology

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care

 

Experience and Skills:

 

• Recent fellowship in Interventional Cardiology (preferred)

• Proficient in pacemaker implants (required)

• Knowledge of defibrillators and peripheral vascular work (preferred)

• Understanding of extremity support for vascular access and/or lower extremity (preferred)

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

• Ability to work under pressure
