Location: Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania

 

Salary: We are offering a competitive salary, benefits and a comprehensive package with $125,000 student loan payments, residency stipend payments, bonuses, relocation allowance, and CME allowances.

 

Job Summary: We are seeking an Internist/Internal Medicine Physician to join our established primary care practice site in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care services to patients of all ages and genders. The physician will be expected to maintain a 1:5 call rotation and a Monday through Friday 9am-5pm work schedule.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

– Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of medical conditions

– Prescribe medications and therapies to treat illnesses

– Educate patients on preventive health care measures

– Refer patients to specialists as needed

– Document patient visits and progress notes

– Maintain accurate patient records

– Participate in professional development and continuing education

 

Qualifications:

 

– MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school

– Active, unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania

– Board Certification in Internal Medicine

– At least 1 year of experience in Internal Medicine

– Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

 

Experience and Skills:

 

– Working knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and regulations

– Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

– Proficiency in the use of EHRs and other medical software

– Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently
