Job Title: Internist/Internal Medicine Physician
Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania
Salary: A competitive salary package is on offer for this position, including $125,000 student loan payment, a relocation allowance, commencement bonus, CME assistance, loan repayment, stipend options, and other benefits.
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Internist/Internal Medicine Physician to join our primary care practice site in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to our patients and work collaboratively with our team of medical professionals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
– Order and interpret laboratory and imaging tests
– Develop and implement patient management plans
– Educate patients on their diagnosis and treatment plans
– Provide preventive care, health education, and lifestyle guidance to patients
– Evaluate patient progress and modify plans of care accordingly
– Participate in call rotation with other members of the team
Qualifications:
– Medical degree from an accredited medical school
– Board certification in Internal Medicine
– State medical license (or eligible) in the state of Pennsylvania
– Knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and standards
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to prioritize and manage a large patient load
– Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality of care
Experience and Skills:
– A minimum of two years’ experience in Internal Medicine
– Proficiency in the use of electronic health records (EHR)
– Knowledge of clinical guidelines and protocols
– Advanced understanding of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
– Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
