Location: Lufkin, Texas

 

Salary: We offer a competitive base salary and productivity incentives to our Internists/Internal Medicine Physicians. Additional employee benefits are provided to support our medical staff and their families. A sign-on and/or commencement bonus, relocation and CME expenses, and a medical education stipend for current residents and/or loan repayment assistance is available for the right candidate.

 

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly-skilled Internist/Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Lufkin, Texas. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Internal Medicine professional who is knowledgeable in the field and understands the importance of providing quality patient care.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

– Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions

– Provide patient-centered care while ensuring patient safety

– Build relationships with patients and their families

– Develop treatment plans and review progress

– Monitor and manage chronic illnesses

– Develop and implement health promotion and education plans

– Provide support and advice to other medical staff

 

Qualifications:

 

– MD degree or equivalent

– Board Certified in Internal Medicine

– Valid medical license in the state of Texas

– Proven track record of providing excellent patient care

– Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues

– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

 

Experience and Skills:

 

– 5+ years of relevant clinical experience

– Knowledge of relevant medical regulations and standards

– Proficiency in the use of medical software and other technologies

– Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects

– Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

– Excellent organizational and time-management skills
