Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Internist/Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Morristown, TN. The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience and will utilize services at both Newport Medical Center and the local hospital. This is an employed position and the position is outpatient only. Office space is currently available.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

• Diagnose and treat diseases of the internal organs

• Prescribe and administer medications

• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests

• Counsel and educate patients on preventative health care

• Promote health maintenance and disease prevention

• Refer patients to other health care professionals

• Coordinate patient care with other health care professionals

 

Qualifications:

 

• Valid medical license

• Board certification in Internal Medicine

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

 

Experience and Skills:

 

• At least five years of experience as an Internist/Internal Medicine Physician

• Ability to provide quality patient care

• Knowledge of current clinical procedures

• In-depth knowledge of health care laws and regulations

• Familiarity with clinical systems and software
