Job Title: Internist/Internal Medicine Physician
Location: Foley, AL
Salary: We are offering competitive compensation based on MGMA guidelines, with potential incentives based on Work Relative Value Units (WRUVs). Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Internist/Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Foley, AL. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in an Outpatient practice, with start dates beginning in 2023. We are happy to accept both new graduates and experienced candidates. The location is just a 25 minute drive to the beach.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide care to patients of all ages, from infants to elders
• Diagnose, treat and help prevent diseases and injuries
• Prescribe and administer treatment, therapy, medication, and other special services
• Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ condition
• Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patient
• Monitor patients’ conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary
• Provide health and wellness advice to patients
• Refer patients to medical specialists as needed
Qualifications:
• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Licensed or eligible for license to practice medicine in the State of Alabama
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (IM)
• Good standing with the Medical Board
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
Experience and Skills:
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments
• Understanding of medical protocols and procedures
• Ability to work in a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to make decisions quickly and accurately
• Excellent patient care, communication, and organizational skills
