Location: Knoxville, Tennessee

 

Salary: We are offering a competitive base salary to the successful candidate. Additionally, a comprehensive compensation package may include a commencement bonus, assistance with medical education debt, relocation assistance, reimbursement for licensure, dues and/or subscriptions, 401K, profit sharing, PTO, and CME allowance.

 

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Internist/Family Doctor to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive family medicine services to our patients, ensuring quality care and positive outcomes.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

• Provide high standard of care to patients

• Perform examinations, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions

• Develop treatment plans and follow up on progress

• Prescribe medications, therapies and other treatments

• Provide preventative care and health education

• Maintain patient records

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations

 

Qualifications:

 

• MD degree with board certification/eligibility in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine

• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Tennessee

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

Experience and Skills:

 

• Prior experience in family medicine/internal medicine

• Proficient in electronic medical records system

• Understanding of medical laws, regulations and quality standards

• Knowledge of health insurance processes and coding

• Familiarity with laboratory and diagnostic imaging procedures
