Job Title: Internal Medicine Physician
Location: Poplar Bluff, Missouri
Salary: This job offers a competitive salary, with the opportunity to take part in a 2023 GME program and receive higher Medicare/Medicaid reimbursements due to designated rural health clinics.
Job Summary: We are searching for an experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our employed physician network and provide excellent outpatient care. This position offers the potential to supervise mid-level providers and will provide good access to over 11 specialists in a hospital-owned multi-specialty group.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
– Develop and implement patient management plans
– Promote health education
– Provide preventive care and health maintenance
– Order and interpret diagnostic tests
– Monitor and adjust treatments
– Refer patients to specialists, when needed
Qualifications:
– MD/DO degree
– American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) certification
– Active medical license in the state of Missouri
– DEA certification
– Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
– Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues
Experience and Skills:
– At least 1 year of experience as an Internal Medicine Physician
– Clinical expertise in Internal Medicine
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Sound medical judgment and decision-making
– Knowledge of medical technologies
