A global company specializing in infrared security devices and photoelectric sensors for Industrial Automation is looking to add an Inside Sales Representative to their team!
Responsibilities:
Manage purchase orders, follow up on inquiries, provide lead time, and delivery schedule to customers
Provide order and shipment status to the customer
Contact new and existing customers to discuss and advise best products to use for specific applications
Negotiate or adjust the pricing structure depending on the market and the exchange rate
Prepare and submit quotes and purchase orders
Manage inventory and participate in year-end inventory
Pack and ship products
Create monthly sales reports by extracting and analyzing sales data from CRM
Coordinate with the International sales department in Japan as well as the shipping company
Communicate with the factory to get the right product information for the specific application
Create list price and discount structure
Attend trade show once or twice per year
Visit customers to evaluate needs or to promote products and services
Create training materials and conduct product training for customers
Provide support in product promotion efforts and campaigns
Qualifications:
College degree preferred or relevant experience
Knowledge of Industrial sensors or electrical background is preferred
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services
Ability to communicate and coordinate with people outside of the organization, representing the organization to customers and other external sources
Experience in quote preparation and order entering preferred
