Seeking a qualified Inpatient Clinician to provide direct services to clients in collaboration with a treatment team in our Detoxification and Rehabilitation Inpatient program settings. The Clinician ensures that quality of care is provided to all clients according to their individual needs using group and individual sessions, as well as working with the case management and medical treatment teams to provide full-spectrum substance abuse services. Candidates should be comfortable with utilizing a variety of substance abuse therapies techniques including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Short-Term, Solution Focused Therapy, 12-Step group facilitation, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and/or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and should be comfortable facilitating group therapy. One of the following licensures is required for this position: LMSW, LMHC, MSW, MHC, CASAC, and CASAC-T.


· Provide support to individuals entering early recovery

· Demonstrate ability to manage a caseload of individual clients

· Provide complete and thorough assessments of each client

· Demonstrate ability to facilitate educational and psychodynamic addiction and mental health recovery-based groups

· Complete documentation within EMR in a timely and accurate manner, including but not limited to, group note documentation, one on one sessions, etc.

· Demonstrate ability to check-in with clients on an individualized, as needed basis according to level of care

· Demonstrate ability to individualize treatment planning, and discharge planning with each client

· Demonstrate ability to provide crisis intervention and/or crisis stabilization when necessary

· Attend weekly collaborative meetings and supervision to ensure quality of care

· Consult with Administrator, and other staff members to ensure quality of care when necessary

· Comply with local, state, and federal confidentiality laws and regulations

· Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences

· Develop & Document full assessments, treatment planning, monitor patients’ clinical progress in treatment and discharge planning

· Facilitate or co-lead small groups of patients/ clients/ or significant others to increase understanding of the consumers issues or to improve coping skills and performance of activities of daily living

· Function autonomously and utilize appropriate judgment in the analysis and solving of sophisticated problems

· Through regular contact with patient/ client and provider, monitors patient/ client participation and satisfaction in all services used by consumers on their caseload, and determine if the individual is progressing and if specific services continue to be needed and are appropriate

· Participate in quality improvement addressing medical record documentation, quality reviews, and utilization related to clinical work performed

· Perform other duties as assigned


· Following credentials: LMSW, LMHC, MSW, MHC, CASAC, CASAC-T

· A minimum of 3 years with Addiction Treatment Centers: Inpatient/Outpatient

· Excellent organizational skills

· Ability to multitask in high stress environments

· Work within the context of the interdisciplinary treatment team and/or as a member of an identified program/module and as such is expected to attend staffing, consultations, and case conferences on assigned consumers

· Provides didactic, therapeutic groups individual counseling

· Develops, modifies & implements treatment plans

· Provide consultation to the team in the areas of assessment and treatment planning

· Lead groups and other patient education or counseling sessions

· Design and implement special clinical activities as assigned

· Basic computer skills, including the ability to access and utilize web-based/ platform-based resourc

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
