HVAC Fabrication/Shop Manager

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Commercial HVAC Fabrication/Shop Manager to join our team. This role requires advanced knowledge of fabrication processes and equipment, along with strong leadership skills to oversee and guide our fabrication team.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all operations within the fabrication shop, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
2. Utilize extensive fabrication experience to advise on and execute various HVAC fabrication projects.
3. Implement, manage, and maintain fabrication software such as AutoCAD, BIM, and Trimble, and ensure its effective integration with fabrication equipment.
4. Guide, supervise, and develop team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
5. Adhere to and enforce safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
6. Collaborate with other managers and team members to optimize fabrication processes and workflow.
7. Manage equipment maintenance and procurement, ensuring the shop is equipped with what it needs to operate efficiently.
8. Provide leadership in the planning and execution of complex fabrication projects.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 10 years of HVAC fabrication experience is required.
2. Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial role within a fabrication environment.
3. Proficient in using AutoCAD, BIM, and Trimble Fabrication software.
4. In-depth knowledge of the integration of fabrication software with fabrication equipment.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Stable work history demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
7. Must be local to or willing to relocate to Wilmington, NC.
