HVAC Fabrication/Shop Manager

We are actively seeking a seasoned Commercial HVAC Fabrication/Shop Manager to lead our fabrication team in Raleigh. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of fabrication experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of key fabrication software and equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all operations within the HVAC fabrication shop, ensuring projects are completed to the highest quality standards and within expected timelines.
2. Use your extensive fabrication experience to guide a variety of HVAC fabrication projects.
3. Implement, manage, and troubleshoot fabrication software such as AutoCAD, BIM, and Trimble, ensuring seamless integration with fabrication equipment.
4. Supervise, guide, and mentor team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
5. Enforce and adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
6. Collaborate with other managers and teams to streamline fabrication processes and improve workflows.
7. Oversee equipment maintenance schedules and manage equipment procurement to ensure the shop is always prepared for efficient operations.
8. Take the lead in the planning and execution of complex fabrication projects.

Qualifications:

1. At least 10 years of experience in HVAC fabrication is required.
2. A minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial role within a fabrication setting.
3. Proficiency in using AutoCAD, BIM, and Trimble Fabrication software.
4. In-depth understanding of the integration of fabrication software with fabrication equipment.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Stable work history demonstrating consistency and dedication.
7. Must be local to or willing to relocate to Raleigh, NC.
