Job Title: Gynecologist

 

Location: Lafollette, Tennessee

 

Salary: We are offering a comprehensive package to include a competitive salary based on Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) guidelines, an incentive bonus based on Work Relative Value Units (WRVUs), a commencement/signing bonus, medical education debt assistance, relocation expenses, CME, licensure, dues, and subscriptions, and vacation, health, dental, and vision benefits. Mid-level supervision compensation is also available.

 

Job Summary: We are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Gynecologist to join our practice in Lafollette, Tennessee. The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience and be comfortable with general GYN services, as well as robotics, though robotics are not available. This position includes call coverage at a 1:2 ratio for practice only.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

• Provide gynecologic services to support primary care providers in the Rural Health Clinic

• Utilize established nurse practitioner as a major referral source for surgical procedures

• Comply with medical staff rules and regulations

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Uphold patient safety and satisfaction

• Adhere to professional and ethical standards

• Maintain patient records

 

Qualifications:

 

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Board certification/eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology

• Active, non-probationary Tennessee medical license

• DEA certification

• Certificates of completion for required courses

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

Experience and Skills:

 

• Minimum of three years of experience in Gynecology

• Ability to perform general GYN services and robotics, although robotics are not available

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of current regulations and standards

• Working knowledge of medical equipment

• Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
