Sales Estimator with Expertise Needed

We are in search of a seasoned Sales Estimator to craft bid proposals for both private and public ventures and to synergize with fellow estimators. Applicants should either be US citizens or have authorization to be employed in the US.

Your role encompasses the full spectrum of project bidding activities. This includes, but isn’t limited to: understanding Union stipulations; setting bid timelines; scrutinizing project details; site visits; participation in pre-build discussions; contract evaluations; adhering to and updating bid timelines while keeping stakeholders informed; selecting optimal systems/materials; procuring and assessing quotes from vendors and subcontractors; conducting labor evaluations; managing bid data sheets; and liaising with diverse clientele.

What we anticipate from you:

  • 3-8 years of project estimation experience, particularly in the glazing sector, across projects of varying scales.
  • A High School Diploma complemented by some tertiary education (either a certification or an Associate’s degree) in Construction or Architectural Technology.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific materials, machinery, tools, and equipment.
  • Capability to interpret blueprints, architectural, and structural designs.
  • Proficiency in precise take-offs and familiarity with digital take-offs.
  • Familiarity with the Windows OS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
  • Grasp of manufacturers’ setup guidelines.
  • Stellar client service capabilities.
  • Robust skills in resolving disputes.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and attention to detail.
  • A self-driven attitude.
