Job Title: Gastroenterologist 
 
Location: Huntsville, Alabama 
 
Salary: We offer a comprehensive financial package that includes a competitive salary based on MGMA guidelines and incentive bonus based on WRUVs. Job Summary: Our organization is looking to hire a Gastroenterologist to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. We are seeking an individual with expertise in the specialty of Gastroenterology (GE), with the preference of EUS. The call is projected to be 1:4, and office space is available. We regret to inform that we are unable to provide visa assistance.
 
Roles and Responsibilities: 
 
• Diagnose and treat disorders of the digestive system 
• Diagnose and treat diseases of the gastrointestinal tract 
• Prescribe medications and treatments 
• Obtain and interpret medical imaging results 
• Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust as needed 
• Develop treatment plans and monitor patient progress 
• Educate patients and their families on maintaining a healthy lifestyle 
 
Qualifications: 
 
• Medical degree and board certification in gastroenterology 
• Current state medical license and DEA certification 
• Demonstrated knowledge of gastroenterology and related procedures 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Commitment to providing superior patient care 
 
Experience and Skills: 
 
• At least 3 years of clinical practice experience 
• Ability to use computerized medical records systems 
• In-depth understanding of evidence-based medicine 
• Familiarity with medical terminology and protocols 
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability 
• Strong organizational and time management skills
