Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for  pursuing new business and managing an existing book of renewal business in our Management Liability portfolio focusing on privately held and nonprofit companies; which includes Directors & Officers, Employment Practices, Fiduciary Liability and Crime coverage lines. 
  • Underwrite, rate, and service new and renewal submissions and participate in client meetings as required.

  • Develop and maintain agency and broker relationships.

  • Negotiate with brokers within the limits of delegated authority and in accordance with established underwriting standards to achieve profit objectives.


  • 3-6 years of Private and/or Nonprofit Company D&O underwriting experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Detail oriented; Attention to quality/accuracy

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflows efficiently

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment

  • Professional demeanor in verbal and written communications internally and externally

  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and similar applications
