To qualify for this position, you MUST have a good component level troubleshooting ability. The company designs, installs, and services a variety of automated electrical drives and control systems. The ideal candidate will have experience servicing PLCs, HMIs, control systems, variable frequency drives, and other related equipment. Company will consider someone who has strong component level trouble shooting experience, even if they do not have PLC & controls experience. They will also consider recent graduates who have component level troubleshooting skills. A positive customer relations attitude is required. This company has been in business over 50 years, has an excellent reputation in the industry, and knows that their field service team is the key to their continued success. Base salary is in the $70K – $85K range (depending on experience) and there is the ability to earn as much as an additional $30K annually with overtime and incentives (possibly more). You will be tested on your knowledge of electronics, your ability to read schematics, and your ability to troubleshoot to component level. They will also do a background check & drug screen. This is a Field Service position which includes a company vehicle, so a good driving record is required. Need to be a U.S. Citizen, and have the ability to communicate clearly in English. Only local NJ / NYC area people will be considered.
