Job Title: Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician

 

Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania

 

Salary: We offer a competitive salary package including student loan repayment of up to $125,000, relocation allowance, commencement bonus, CME assistance, loan repayment, and stipend options.

 

Job Summary: We are looking for a Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician to join our established practice in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate should have experience in Family Medicine as well as excellent patient care and communication skills. New graduates are welcome to apply.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

– Provide outpatient and inpatient care in a clinical setting

– Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses

– Record patient medical histories, physical assessment findings, and diagnostic results

– Develop treatment plans and evaluate patient progress

– Prescribe medication and refer to specialists

– Establish a collaborative working relationship with patients and families

– Participate in quality improvement activities

 

Qualifications:

 

– MD/DO degree from an accredited institution

– Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine

– Valid license to practice medicine in the state of Pennsylvania

– Ample knowledge of clinical medicine and best practices

– Ability to work well in a team setting

 

Experience and Skills:

 

– Professionalism and strong work ethic

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks

– Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) programs

– Ability to work with little to no supervision
