Job Title: Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician
Location: Flowood, Mississippi
Salary: This full-time position provides an attractive and competitive compensation package based on the physician’s experience. In addition to the base salary, the position offers commencement bonus, medical education debt assistance, and relocation.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician to join a hospital-employed clinic in Flowood, Mississippi. The ideal candidate should have a passion for providing comprehensive primary care services and have a commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care. New graduates are also welcome to apply.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
• Perform physical examinations
• Prescribe medications
• Provide preventive care and patient education
• Maintain patient medical records
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
• Meet established standards for quality care
• Participate in continuing medical education (CME)
Qualifications:
• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Licensed to practice medicine in Mississippi
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
• Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience and Skills:
• Previous experience in a primary care setting is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of current medical standards and protocols
• Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHR)
