Location: Corsicana, Texas

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician to join our team in Corsicana, Texas. The ideal candidate is a board-certified/board eligible Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician with Spanish language skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing outpatient care to our patients in a professional and compassionate manner.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

– Provide patient care in accordance with established standards and practices

– Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of medical conditions, including chronic diseases

– Order appropriate laboratory tests and imaging to diagnose and treat patients

– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

– Educate and counsel patients on preventative health care and health maintenance

– Document patient care in the electronic medical record

– Participate in call coverage

 

Qualifications:

 

– Board-certified/board eligible in Family Medicine/Primary Care

– Unrestricted Texas Medical License

– DEA License

– Current BLS/ACLS certification

– Ability to work four 10’s or a standard 5 day work week

– Spanish speaking is a plus

 

Experience and Skills:

 

– Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient care

– Possess excellent patient care and communication skills

– Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

– Strong organizational and time management skills

– Knowledge of EMR systems
