Job Title: Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician
Location: Birmingham, Alabama

Job Summary: We are looking for a Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician to join our team. This is a hospital-employed, full-time opportunity in an outpatient primary care setting. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Examine, diagnose, and treat patients for various physical and mental conditions
– Order and interpret laboratory and imaging tests
– Prescribe medications and therapies
– Provide patient education on preventive care, hygiene, and dietary modifications
– Ensure patient safety and adherence to standards of care
– Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
– MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
– Board Certification in Family Medicine/Primary Care
– Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Alabama
– Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement initiatives and patient safety principles
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience and Skills:
– At least 2-3 years of experience in an outpatient clinical setting
– Proficiency in EMR systems
– Ability to work interdependently and collaboratively with other healthcare staff
– Ability to manage a diverse patient population
