The Extrusion Manager will have 20+ direct reports over 2 shifts and be responsible for all aspects of the department. The position is a first shift job but may have to occasionally stay late or work 2nd shift if issues arise.
My client is looking for someone with at least an Associates degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred) with a strong production management background preferably in a high speed manufacturing environment. The person must have either plastic extrusion or film extrusion experience to be considered. Strong continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and/or Six Sigma experience. Looking for a hands on leader who knows how to coach, mentor, and develop people.
My client is not interested in someone who is a Supervisor; has to be a Manager. My client is also not interested in someone who does not have extrusion experience.
Ideal companies would be printing manufacturers or packaging companies but any high speed manufacturer that works with extrusion will work.
