Job Title: Endocrinologist
Location: Dothan, AL

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced endocrinologist to join our team in Dothan, AL. The ideal candidate will possess the knowledge necessary to handle the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine, diabetes, and metabolic diseases. This role involves a mix of inpatient and outpatient duties with no call coverage except office hours.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and treat endocrine, diabetes, and metabolic diseases
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Perform physical examinations
• Order and interpret lab tests and other diagnostic tests
• Provide patient education
• Maintain detailed patient records
• Keep up to date with advances in endocrinology
Qualifications:
• Board certified in endocrinology
• Valid medical license
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Able to work independently
• Excellent time management skills
Experience and Skills:
• Experience in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism
• Knowledge of endocrine physiology, biochemistry, and pathology
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards
