Job Description
- Join a dynamic Trial and Litigation Practice Group, focusing on eminent domain cases.
- Engage in all aspects of litigation: pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal.
- Represent public and private clients in land acquisition for large infrastructure projects (e.g., transit systems, stadiums).
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, and develop trial strategies.
- Participate in depositions, witness interviews, and evidence gathering.
Qualifications
- 4-7 years of litigation experience (eminent domain or real estate/real property experience preferred).
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proven experience with law and motion practice, including dispositive motions.
- Ability to build a case for trial, including discovery, depositions, and witness interviews.
- Licensed to practice law in California.
