How many opportunities come around to work at a greenfield facility? This company is still technically a start-up, but they are in Series D funding (very late-stage start-up), and are well-underway in building a $1B processing and manufacturing plant that is set to come online within the next two years. This person will be joining a dedicated electrical engineering group that is working on the overall electrical system design for this plant and installing and commissioning equipment as it comes in. After this facility is completed this person will be an integral part of the on-going electrical systems/power distribution team as well as likely helping to execute similar projects at future sites.
Requirements:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
7+ years of post-college, manufacturing experience out of chemicals, pharma, petrochemicals, steel, pulp/paper, or other heavy industry
Must have electrical systems experience – meaning, power distribution experience. This group does capital work related to electrical systems, so it isn’t day-to-day operations, it’s systems design, equipment installation and commissioning, etc.
The ideal candidate would have experience with software like SKM, ETAP, EasyPower and/or Aspen Power
If remote – this role will travel often, upwards of 50% of the time or more
