Our client needs a 1st shift Electrical Engineering Supervisor to oversee all plant electrical systems, repairs and improvements for the entire location. The Electrical Supervisor will report to the Maintenance Manager.

  • In addition to castings, they have a complete machine shop for fabrication, heating treating facility and testing lab
  • Certifications include: AS9100, ISO 9001, Nadcap, and ASNT Levels II & III

What you will be doing:

  • Ensuring that all electrical and electronic equipment is operationally ready
  • Plan for all long-range electrical projects and for the electrical portion of any other projects
  • Supervise and schedule the work for a group of 8 electrical people spread over three shifts and be directly involved in the selection, hiring, training and development of new personnel
  • Manage administrative programs that concern electrical systems and personnel
  • Oversee all contractors as needed, directing their activities to ensure on-time and on-budget completion of projects

 

What they are looking for:

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3+ years of electrical experience or 10+ years of electrical experience or a combination of education and experience
  • Must have prior supervisory experience
  • Strong electrical experience including troubleshooting and repair of controls, instrumentation, and electrical distribution systems
  • Project management experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills are needed
  • Must be a self-starter
