Electrical Engineering Director – Licensed PE is required
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license and a four year electrical engineering degree is required to be considered
  • Pay is up to $150,000

This full time, permanent Electrical Engineering Director opening is at a growing, stable structural manufacturer that has been in business for over a century. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:
  • Hiring, leading, training and motivating a team of electrical engineers
  • Determining, scheduling and assigning workload
  • Handling issues and correcting problems
  • Reviewing engineering designs
  • Being responsible for ensuring product quality and functionality
  • Budgeting and being responsible for projects being on time and in budget
  • Communicating with management and manufacturing as well as a variety of departments as needed
  • Determining feasibility
 
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required to be considered 
    A four year electrical engineering degree is required to be considered
  • Five or more years of experience in a leadership role leading electrical engineers is required to be considered
  • A solid understanding of the National Electric Code (NEC)
  • A solid work history
  • A US citizen or green card holder
  • Have a residence within a 45 minute drive
