Our client, a manufacturer of custom pumping solutions needs to add an Electrical Design Engineer to their team due to an upcoming retirement. The individual they are looking for needs to be able to communicate openly, build relationships, and be recognized as an individual that can be trusted. The Electrical Design Engineer will report to the Director of Engineering.

What you will be doing:
Design industrial control and power panels for water pumping systems
Prepare detailed schematics, BOMs, and panel layout drawings
Produce high quality, low cost designs using company standards and applicable codes
Manage multiple projects at the same time
Assist the production team during layout, assembly, and testing
Continuosly identify and investigate ways to improve the electrical systems, components, and process
Provide technical assistance to customers as needed
What they are looking for:
BSEE with 7+ years of relevant experience
Low voltage industrial control panel design experience and knowledge of the standards and regulations as it relates (NEC, UL, NEMA, IEEE, and NFPA)
High proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, creating schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and other electrical engineering documents
Familiarity with international codes and standards is a plus
Experience with electrical enclosures and/or sheet metal fabrication is a plus
Excellent communication skills – good attitude/positive energy/self-motivated
