In this electrical controls engineering role, you be responsible for full spectrum electrical and controls engineering tasks including electrical design, PLC/HMI development and programming, system testing and commissioning.

Based in suburban Chicago with engineering, manufacturing, service and distribution to meet customer needs
Design electrical system schematic diagrams and control panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical
Develop, program, and troubleshoot programs primarily using Allen-Bradley PLCs
Develop, program, and troubleshoot HMI interfaces for FactoryTalk, InduSoft, and Ignition operator interface platforms
Assist with hardware and software troubleshooting during start-up and commissioning phases
Provide customer support using remote system diagnosis via VPN and on-site visit as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
At least 4 years electrical and controls engineering experience
Proficiency programming PLCs and HMIs
Ability to work in a team oriented environment and travel on a limited basis
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without restrictions
