Drives System Engineer (110-150K)
We have a Drives Systems Engineer opportunity available at our established automated equipment manufacturing client in the Syracuse, NY area.
This is a direct hire opportunity.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary up to 150K
- Annual bonus
- Straight time pay after 45 hours in the work week

Your Role:
- Design and start up sensorless vector drives
- Web handling experience with Rockwell, Parker/SSD, or Siemens drives
- Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix or Siemens S7 PLC’s
- Install, start-up and commission automated equipment
- Travel up to 25% for customer visits and start-up’s
Education and Experience:
- BSEE or related degree
- 5+ years of experience as a Controls / Automation Engineer with winding / rolling technologies
- Must be eligible to work in the US without restriction indefinitely
