Summary
Provides 24 hour leadership and accountability for the clinical practice and operational functions for the Emergency Department.  
Ensures the quality of direct and indirect patient care by collaborating intra/interdepartmentally with staff, colleagues, administration, physicians, and others.  
Effectively manages material, fiscal and human resources.  
Delegates appropriately, demonstrates critical thinking to assure delivery of safe, quality, population specific care.  
Adheres to organizational policies and procedures; regulatory/accrediting body requirements; and professional practice standards.  
Participates in strategic and service growth planning and implementation.
 
Education
Graduate of an accredited program for Nursing education.
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or in progress of obtaining a BSN.
Current licensure to practice professional Nursing in the State of Ohio or able to obtain.
BLS and ACLS and PALS required.
Minimum 3 years of experience.
 
Additional Info
The department has a great team and reports to the CNO.  There is 55 FTE’s.
The position full time and hours are primarily M-F 8am-4:30pm.
The position will offer a range between $83K-$135K depending on experience a full benefit package including relocation.
