We are seeking an experienced candidate to join our client’s leadership team. The client is a growing and long-standing marketing agency and the Director of Client Services role is a critical part of their growth plans and ability to scale for the future.
As an integral member of the leadership team, the Director of Client Services will work closely alongside other leadership team members to set the direction of the agency. He/She will work hand-in-hand with the other leadership team members to achieve the company mission by adopting and living the agency’s core values. Additionally, the Director of Client Services will oversee the overarching brand management discipline within the agency and provide strategic support to both the team and its clients.

What you will do:
Provide oversight and accountability for the performance and profitability of the Client Services team.
Serve in a client facing role and build strong relationships with senior decision makers.
Report to the COO and is lead the development and mentorship of the Client Services team, which includes Brand Managers, Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
Work closely with clients and team members to establish long-term strategies and business goals.
Demonstrate an exemplary client services mindset with the ability to maintain and extend client success.
What you will need:
8+ years experience working in account management or client services in an advertising or marketing agency setting (highly preferred).
At least 4 years experience leading teams (managing Account Managers, Brand Managers, digital / marketing / advertising professionals) performing senior-level client negotiation and management skills, with clear and substantive speaking, writing and presentation skills.
Exceptional new business and client-facing skills.
Well-versed in all forms of media including direct mail, print, broadcast, non-traditional media, as well as interactive/online marketing programs that go beyond the scope of “media” (i.e., affiliate programs, direct e-mail and non-traditional buying practices).
Experience in growing, managing, and inspiring internal teams.
Strong leadership and organizational skills must be complemented by a relationship-building management style.
BA in business, marketing, communications, or advertising. (MBA preferred, but not required)
