Make a difference in Imaging!
As a CT Technologist at CompuRay Medical, you will have the opportunity to work 8-hour day or pm shifts Monday-thru-Friday. The CT Technologist, GE BCT 64 slice computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues. Orientation/training provided.
Summary of Essential Duties:
- Accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions
- Administer contrast material
- Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
- Ability to position patient to capture appropriate images
- Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading
- Cleans and disinfects patient rooms
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines
Education:
- Graduate of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology program required
License/Certifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) required
- Indiana Radiologic Technologist certification required or ability to obtain at the start of the assignment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
Experience:
- A minimum of 1 years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist required.
