The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate includes the following:
Creating estimates, quotes, budgets and orders to meet customer needs
Following up to gain sales
Growing and improving relationships with customers and suppliers
Achieving competitive supplier pricing on material and services
Overseeing the life cycle of each job and any variations
Evaluating and overseeing purchase and sales orders
Evaluating contract documents and engineering drawings
The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered:
A degree
Four or more years of industrial sales estimating experience
One or more years of CAD experience
Familiarity with the conveyor and/or material handling industry
Ability to travel to trade shows or customer sites (zero to ten percent travel)
A work history that is stable and free of employment gaps
